In the September issues of the TechNet Magazine, there is a very interesting article on meetings and training classes, written by Michael Dragone, who is a Systems Engineer for a title insurance company in New York. Here is a quote from the author:
In my experience I’ve found that, no matter the particular topic, the keys to a successful meeting are free food and a lighthearted tone. Make it easy for your users to ask any question, even the “dumb” questions.
In the past few seminars that I have been to (from the .NET USER GROUPS), we always get really good food like Hell Pizza and beers, I was always wondering why they associate food with seminars…
