A great piece of software that lets you get the apps that you want straight away! It saves you time finding the apps you want on the Dock Menu / in the Application Folder. If you want to get the best out of this app, you will probably need to invest a bit of your time to read the online documentation.

This is a great IM client that supports multiple protocols (MSN, AOL, Gtalk, Yahoo, QQ….) and also lets you get through the proxy. (really useful if you want to use MSN on our Uni Lan).
Deleting an Application in Mac is easy, normally you just drag them to the recycle bin and its deleted. But what about the associated files? AppDelete solves this problem by deleting the associated files when you delete the app that you no longer need. Last week I used this app to solve someone’s Firefox problem when I was working on the ITS helpdesk. The student claim she couldn’t get Firefox to start up no matter how many times she un/re-install it. So I tried AppDelete and it solved the problem 🙂 (this is not a Google Ads 😉 )
Microsoft Office 2004 is a great Office Suite on the Mac platform. So is there any FREE ones that we can use? Well, NeoOffice is the answer. Of course, you can use OpenOffice as well, but I personally prefer NeoOffice’s Aqua Interface that integrates seamlessly with the Mac OS X. NeoOffice is based on OpenOffice, they use to be on the same download page on OpenOffice’s website, but somehow they got separated. And right now OpenOffice is getting ready to release a new version for Macs that uses of the Aqua interface.

A lightweight cross platform video player that supports multiple formats. It also has a very nice interface on the Mac version 🙂
