I had a job interview a few weeks ago with a Dunedin company, but haven’t heard of any reply so far, so I decided to send them an email. Since I haven’t sent any kind of emails like this before, so I asked Chaks for help. My original email was something like this:
How are you? Just wondering is there any updates so far? I am looking forwards to work in your company, but I also got other options that I need to reply soon, so it would be nice if I could get feedback. Thanks.”
Chaks gave me a much better version:
“I would like to know is there any updates regarding my job. I have applied to other jobs too but I am looking forward to work with **** and would be happy if you could tell me the status so that I could update myself.
Eagerly looking forward to work with ****”
Just a few lines of words, and he can express my concern in a much better way. Thanks for the lesson Chaks 🙂
